Was involved in both the CRM and internal Helpdesk markets, Vantive was only slightly smaller than Remedy Corporation.  Like Sibel they had a strong web philisophy along with a proven scalable architecture.  However, Vantive required a good deal of customization was much more expensive than Remedy.
